MEI Leadership Coaching

MEI (Mindful Emotional Intelligence) Leadership Coaching at 3 Pillars of Leadership is designed for managers to build a foundation for continued learning and developing their own performance. MEI Leadership Coaching is a model for behaviors and skills that the managers can then utilize/practice with their team/direct reports to maximize employee performance.

This provides a model for managers to use for themselves and to use themselves with direct reports.

MEIL Coaching consists of:

  • 30-minute coaching conversation sessions

  • Personal growth

  • Concordant goal setting

  • Accountability

  • Mindful reflection


Empowered Leadership Coaching

Once a leadership course, including our in-person courses and our online leadership courses, is completed, the learning has just begun. Leadership Coaching supports the individual as they begin to transfer their newly found skills into their everyday work. Coaching contributes to the transfer of training in five ways.

  • Practicing new strategies more often and with greater skill than uncoached leaders

  • Adapting the strategies more appropriately to their own goals and contexts

  • Retaining and increasing skills over time

  • Explaining the new models and skills expected of them

  • Demonstrating a clearer understanding of the purposes and use of the new strategies
